Covered subjects

Gear – Silent partner or Soloist (for now);

Attitude – Engagement, easy routes vs hard routes;

Management -back up, cleaning the pitch;

Practice – Applying course content in real life situation;

Auto-sauvetage – safety plan, getting out of a bad situation, we also encourage you to get deeper in first aid knowledge, RCR, and other equipment.

Cost:

Top Rope Solo description

Pre-requisite:

– Lead traditional climbing autonomy

Covered subjects

Gear  Rope grabs, systems, ropes;

Attitude – Engagement;

Management – Safe approach to the top of the cliff, organisation when alone; 

Practice – Applying course content in real life situation;

Auto-sauvetage – safety plan, getting out of a bad situation, we also encourage you to get deeper in first aid knowledge, RCR, and other equipment.

Cost:

Aid climbing description

Pre-requisite:

– Lead traditional climbing autonomy

Covered subject

– Gear – Progression protections, pitons, hooks, cam-hooks, bashies (alumina / copper heads), offset mechanics, aiders, daisy chains, fifi hook, gloves, ascenders;

– Attitude – aid vs free, easy routes, transitions;

– Management – fall factor, pulley effect, traverses, pendulum, cleaning a pitch;

Practice – Applying course content in real life situation;

Auto-sauvetage – Safety plan, getting out of a bad situation, we also encourage you to get deeper in first aid knowledge, RCR, and other equipment.

Cost:

Big Walls Techniques

Pre-requisite:

– Aid climbing autonomy

Covered subject

– Gear – Bags, portaledge, equipment list, water… really heavy, pulley;

Attitude – * pitches routes vs 32 pitches routes, aid vs free, keep a schedule, adjusting;

Management – MANAGEMENT, MANAGEMENT, MANAGEMENT! belays, planning a project, team work, getting down;

Practice – Applying course content in real life situation;

Auto-sauvetage – safety plan, getting out of a bad situation, we also encourage you to get deeper in first aid knowledge, RCR, and other equipment.

Cost:

-500$ plus taxes in private

-170$ plus taxes per person in a group of 4

Self-rescue description

Pre-requisite:

– Traditional climbing autonomy

Covered subjects

 – Self-rescue is how to get out of a bad situation without the help from others (doesn’t mean to say no!) A first aid course is a really good addition.

You will get knowledge on :

-Specifics knots for self rescue;

-What to do when hard situation happens while :

  • belaying a partner in top rope
  • belaying a lead climber
  • belaying from the top 1 or 2 climbers
  • while rappeling.

Cost:

130$ per person, plus taxes in a group of 4.

* This course is a really good complement to any courses.

* We can also adjust to a group needs on self-rescue.

-Passionate Climber who want to get better faster.
